About Me

My  name is Victoria Alexis Murray. I was born in Norwalk, CT. I  always was more of the creative and musical type who enjoyed letting my  imagination run free. My grandmother, who owned a hair salon, would  bring me to work with her, and I remember always having a fun time. As I  got  older, she taught me more about hair, and over the summer she would let  me  shampoo her clients, do their nails, and practice styling hair on  mannequins. This is  where my passion began to grow for being behind the chair.
As a  Junior in High School, I became a Shampoo Girl at a hair salon in  Stafford, VA and loved it. In 2014, I enrolled in Paul Mitchell the  School in Woodbridge, VA and graduated 10 months later while also  becoming a certified Makeup Artist. That program was just what I needed  to spark the start of my amazing career! I then became licensed and  started working as a Hair Stylist and a Makeup Artist. About 4 years  into my career, I became independent -- and that is when I decided to  transition into being a Mobile Hair Stylist. This fun change has helped me  grow.
I  was a businesswoman before, but things really shifted into high gear  when I  learned to be all of the roles at once. My first year was successful,  and I am thrilled to see what heights I can bring my business to in the  future!
